Mordicus’s Life: The Planet Itself

Many believe that there are other planets just like Earth in different universes. A lot of people built space satellites to go out of our universe to explore the beyond, but they never came back and were left wandering around with the battery, its life source, dead. Those people never got the chance to know how right they were. A planet in a different universe just like ours is out there. It was called Mordicus.

This planet was far from the Milky Way indeed. It is a third planet like Earth, has a sun, other planets revolving that same sun, moons, anything you can think of. But, that universe, those planets too are different than our universe and planets.

Instead of a yellow sun, that sun is bright blue, that third planet is bigger, no, more huge than Earth, and each planet has life forms living there. Enough talking about the universe; let’s talk about the planet itself.

Mordicus, a planet that is third from the big, blue sun. Its distance from it was far from it, but the temperature on it is nice as were the other planets. The color of it was purple due to the atmosphere and some strange chemicals make it look that way, but if you were on the planet, it looks perfectly normal. The size of Mordicus is nearly as huge as Jupiter, but solid thankfully. It is surrounded by a moon nearly as big as Earth. The residents that inhabits there are dragons, dramens, and some humans.

You may be wondering since Mordicus is such a big planet it will have a lot of residents, right? Wrong! Even though the planet is nearly the size of Jupiter doesn’t mean the residents there are in huge numbers. It’s actually holding 3 billion life forms there. Small I know. There is a reason for that, but it will be answer when this story talks about the different residents.

The history of this planet is a bit unknown, but it dates back a billion years ago just like earth. The planet was only inhabited by dragons, smart ones that were evolving quickly, and was ruled by their dragon goddess, Serena. Another planet just like Mordicus and was a neighbor to it also had dragons on there too, but they were evolving slowly just like Earth’s creatures.

Their dragon god wants to marry Serena, but she didn’t want to taint her soil with his creatures as they didn’t seek to better themselves quick enough. The two came to an agreement. If the dragon god defeats Serena in a duel, she will marry him and the two planets will become one. If Serena defeats the dragon god, she can destroy the planet and kill him. In the end, Serena won and the other dragon planet was of no more plus the dragon god.

Later, when Serena saw new inhabitants known as dramen, created by a dragon using magic on a human woman, she saw this opportunity to make new beings on her planet to better itself. She later married the dragon so he can help her out.

Also, due to the residents of the planet, they were able to create inventions faster than Earth’s residents by a million years.

Back to the planet, Mordicus is kind of like a Utopia. What I mean by kind of is that every place or in this case planet has its bad side. While the place has friendly beings living there, there will be those ‘bad apples’ in the bunch just trying to get out and make a name for itself. The planet’s leader, King Samuel, made a special place for those bad apples and it is never pretty. I will cover that later.

On Mordicus there are a lot of places that each dragon, dramen, and humans stay at. There are the four main elemental areas, sub-elemental areas, residential area and the plaza, a place where the humans usually stay, the palace, and some small islands.

Now please, enjoy this story as I take you through this strange yet unique planet.
This is a project that I'm doing that talks about some planets in a different universe. I'm starting off with this planet, Mordicus, first because my story will talk about it quite often. If you still have any questions feel free to ask me.
If you don't like stories that deals with fantasy and sci-fi mixed in with each other, and screwing up you thesis about something than please don't read this. If you don't mind than go ahead.
